Blue agaves grown in the highlands Los Altos region are larger in size and sweeter in aroma and taste. Agaves harvested in the lowlands, on the other hand, have a more herbaceous fragrance and flavor. Jim Ward from Wine Warehouse will be our guide as we taste a highland and a lowland of each of the 3 styles of tequila: blanco, reposado and añejo. Musicians Bryan Leicher and Shari Cyrkin add melody to the evening.
